Moorish Idol

This brightly painted tropical fish is a Moorish Idol.. It is found in abundance in the Hawaiian Islands and throughout the world. The Hawaiians call it kihikihi.

Moorish Idols move gracefully through the water as they feed off the corals. Their long snout was developed to get into areas of the coral that other fish can't reach.

The Moorish Idol is one of the exotic fish you will see when you are snuba diving
